Journal Erris's Journal: NPD Group Says Vista Sales and Revenue Way Less than XP

NPD spills the bad news beans about Vista:

At the six-month mark of Vistas availability, standalone in-store unit sales (not including copies bundled with PCs) were down 59.7 percent from marks posted by Windows XP in the six months after it was released in late 2001. Revenue had fallen 41.5 percent from XPs level.

IT is also not loving it. Microsoft should thank the heavens for Parallels and Mac users, who are 20% of the market for Office 2007.
