  • we use jira here. i don't have experience with anything else to compare it, but it's not my most favorite thing. but i don't know it too well.
    • JIRA isn't that great, but works well with confluence to tie a wiki into your tracking environment.

      Maven2 is hardcore awesome if you deal with multiple projects like me (17 applications). Great building tool that also takes care of things like library maintenance. Although it doesn't play well with the myeclipseIDE. If you are using eclipse, I'd suggest the maven plugin and the jboss plugin instead (if you use jboss).
      • If you had just spent the last 21 months using Scarab, you'd be psyched about JIRA too.
      • yeah - we use confluence too. i haven't really messed a whole lot with either one. it's a relatively knew deal that started with our apps team - we'll be on it fully sooner or later, but i'm holding off on it right now.

Trying to be happy is like trying to build a machine for which the only specification is that it should run noiselessly.
