    I don't get to read as much as I'd like anymore. I do often write technical books instead though, does that count?

      No, just the reading not the writing :)
      • Yes, but the reading comes from the writing, and the writing comes from understanding. I think the heart of the article is misleading. Reading is vital, but learning and understanding are the most important key. I think the article needs to more clearly address that to read well you have to be able to grasp the material before you can work with it.

        And while I'm sure you're messing with ryanr, if it was the case otherwise I would vouch for him because I think it would count if other people read your mater
