Journal SPAM: Fear, Sadness, Anger 2
We just had a meme yesterday that did pretty well, I think in part because we haven't had one running around in a while (not that I've seen anyway). So I don't know that this will go anywhere, but I just saw this quite humorous post by TL and couldn't help but think that it could be interesting as something funny, or something serious. So here is my more serious take on these three.
Fear
Fear is a late night, watching an F-14 on his final approach and suddenly he drops completely out of view. You realize that your legs are running but your brain knows that if that Tomcat slams into the back of the boat, it is very unlikely you'll make it far enough to live.*
Sadness
Sadness is knowing you have done every single thing that you can do and seperation/loss are inevitable.
Anger
Anger is seeing the big black pitt bull from down the street come running through the yard and hearing your kids screaming and crying as they run to get into the house.
*The jet popped up, hit the round-down with his nose gear, bounced upward and caught the one wire which slammed it back to the deck. Nobody got hurt but the jet was jacked up.
