O'Laochdha's Journal: Little debate over the nature of rights.

Apparently, quoting Adam Smith is flamebait, whereas calling free speech a privilege is "insightful," if "overrated," and a wry comment to a poster just saying "bullshit" is "funny." I think the moderators have gone insane.

Regardless, it's crazy how the moderators act in threads about copyright law or George Bush. Flamebait is a hostile, abusive message. A troll is a statement that's both serious in tone and objectively wrong. A message with which you simply disagree is neither. A post you disagree with, while it can't be insightful, can still be interesting or informative. I just hope that the metamoderators don't think like this.
