Ethelred Unraed's Journal: Proof that German weather is screwy

I have two OS X Dashboard widgets that both show the Hannover weather forecast, one in Celsius and one in Fahrenheit. Still, one would think the rest of the weather report would be the same, but German weather got the best of them:

They want people who are stuck in English and Deg F to think the weather's terrible and stay away. :-D

The truly sad thing? Statistically, England gets more sun and less rain than we do. *sigh*

Dude, I eat bon-bons [ricola.ch] and wear pink furry slippers [kinder-traum.at] and watch German soap operas [marienhof.de] all the time! Even while working!

Now I can stand the fact that my preferred global dictator wears pinks furry slippers and eats Swiss herb candy... But watching Marienhof is too much! I'm going to start a putch here! ;-)))

I know it looks pretty. Maybe in Leopard the rainstorm will have sound effects, too.
But in the meantime, try sticking Meteo [sourceforge.net] in your menu bar.
There's even a German localization... if you want to write it :)
