In that CNN video, they showed ole Zaq-the-Mack firing off some kind of heavy machine gun, and pretty obviously not knowing how to handle it, such that a henchman had to come up and (apparently) unjam it for him. Hell, I don't know much about machine guns, but if I wanted to play Evil Overlord on TV and impress people with my terrrrrist foo, I'd at least not make it so painfully obvious that I don't know what the fuck I am doing. They may as well have shown him slipping on a banana peel.

while i don't like to celebrate the death of anyone, i will say i am somewhat relieved this asshole got his ticket punched. my brother-in-law's compound in iraq had recently been getting attacked more and more frequently. if this douchebag sucking on those 500lb bombs means his thugs have a harder time getting their hands on RPGs and mortars, then so be it
