  • I'd believe 2 plus 2 being 5 just to get out of there! I've seen one of the beheading videos and that was more than enough... it's not like a traditional beheading with a whoosh from a very sharp sword (medieval, yet causing the least amount of stress to the beheadee), it's a carving-through-with-the-bluntest-knife-in-the-kit chendrawer. If thát is propagated in the Koran...
    • I certainly don't fault her actions... When I wrote the JE at first, she was speaking as one that might have come to the side of her captors (Stockholm Syndrome, wasn't it?). The update came about when she got to Germany and started saying other things that were more in line with the pleas for help that she gave through the media when she was being held at gunpoint.

          It's possible, but I'm am one that will give someone a piece of my mind, as likely as not. I can't say that I'm terribly impressed with the actions of a bunch of people that use their religion as a justification to kill people. I'm about equally impressed with the religion of Islam itself, since it doesn't seem to have more than a few that are willing to stand up against this violence.
