USA looks like they'll be a pretty tough team, and I'm curious to see how Japan does. Venezuela could be another dark horse team.
But the Dominican Republic team is, on paper, SCARY GOOD. Raphael Furcal, Miguel Tejada, Vladmir Guerrero, Bartolo Colon, Johan Santana, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Albert Pujols, Pedro Martinez..... what GM in the Major league wouldn't kill for the chance of having their top 3 starters be Colon, Santana, and Martinez? None.
