I hate it when people say "RTFA".. especially if you did, even more if they are completely wrong. Pisses me off to no end.

Everyone should just say IITA (It's in the article). Means basically the same thing, less likely to piss people off, and you don't sound like a penis if they did read the fucking article and actually understood the implications better than you did.

I always figure if they understand the article better, I'm taking a calculated risk when being rude and admonishing them with "RTFA". If I don't want to be embarassed I shouldn't use it. I think most people who don't read the article need admonishment so they learn not to spout off uninformed comments. Just saying IITA might not get that through their skulls. I think many "RTFA" users would agree with me.

I've seen threads go either way. Sometimes it really is an idiot who didn't RTFA and after getting flamed, realized he made a mistake, or at least made the mistake of posting.
