Journal jd's Journal: Ice on Mars
A significant disk of ice has been found on the inside of a large impact crater. The ice is very visible and very much on the surface. According to the BBC, "The highly visible ice is sitting in a crater which is 35 km (23 miles) wide, with a maximum depth of about two km (1.2 miles)."
