james_couzens's Journal: Linksys and the RV042

I've been so wrapped up with work that I forgot to post here. I was able to obtain the new firmware from Linksys thanks to help from David Turner of the FSF ([e-mail]). One month after speaking with him Linksys released the firmware. I think its more of an administrative issue as opposed to Linksys not actually wanting to release it.

Now to go after Netgear...
