Journal linzeal's Journal: Someone broke into my car 3

They took;

My 150 dollar Stereo without the faceplate (can't even buy a new one)
Backpack
10 or so of my favorite pens
4 books that weren't in the backpack on Artificial Intelligence/Cognitive Psychology, Discrete/Non-Discrete/Continuous Mathematics, Astrometry, and a book of poems by bukowski
2 pop-science books on contemporary genetic/evolutionary theory that were in my backpack
4 notebooks filled with homework, theories, notes, art projects, and rough drafts of various gaming maps I'm working on.
My favorite jacket (had it for 9 years)

I don't hate the person. I don't really hate anyone. I just wish that society provided more means to survive for that poor animal than to steal. It seems I have another reason to become a teacher. That's all.

Someone broke into my car

  • Something like this happened to a friend of mine while back. Luckily, all he had in his car was a backpack with a notebook and his psychology book. I told him to be optimistic about it. Maybe someone who otherwise would not have the opportunity to read about psychology was given the chance.

    In a way, you could already be a teacher.

    I would call stealing a loaf of bread to feed a starving family more honorable than many of the politicians and business people of today. It's the people that steal only to inflict damage on another person that I truly detest.
  • steals books? I have left a book in the same spot for months in public and nobody has touched it. Books normaly have some type of forbidden aura around them. ^_^

    Then again I also mostly keep everything in my backpack, nice REI hiking backpack, I have had it since 6th grade and it is still going strong. :-D Begining to show a few stretch marks but that it is. (Not bad considering at times I have carried between 30 and 60 lbs of books in it, heh)

Air pollution is really making us pay through the nose.
