Journal: recent viruses

Recent viruses like Sobig etc, are being helped my sloppy mail server admin's. I say sloppy because most Internet Service Providers have started to set up spam and virus filters into their mail servers, however they are not keeping an eye out for those pesky virii that do things like falsify from addresses.

This can be just as annoying as being infected, because a popular mail lists could potentially recieve 3, 4, to several dozen emails that were all generated by 1 infected user having the lists address and that address manages to get used as the from address to a whle host of servers where badly configured virus checkers are running.
