Journal: Photoshop Woes

Well I have used the GIMP for about 1 year now, editing photos, creating graphics etc. Then I saw a class, a class for Photoshop, and thought, "hey for $120, thats not bad maybe Ill learn somthing." So I signed up.

I had used Photoshop before, just here and there, didnt have the slightest idea what I was doing with it. After useing the GIMP for a while now I could see some simalarites. But after that I relized how diffrent they are.

Things that would take me 10min in the GIMP I could do in 5 with Photoshop, it was so much more intutive then the GIMP.

Now I still do use the GIMP, (cant afford Photoshop) but after useing Photoshop the UI seems tedious at times, Im not saying that the GIMP is bad, its a great program, its just still being worked on... and when commpared to Photoshop it shows.
