The Register is carring a artical on a 38 year old U.S. man that has been charged with internet stalking of an ex-girlfriend.It is beleaved to be the frist case of its kind in the world. His prosecution is the first to rely on a 1997 amendment to federal telecommunications law outlawing cyber-harassment.

They started dating when the pair were 15 and the relationship lasted for 7 years. The man is on bail for $50,000 pending further hearings.
