Journal: Earthlink is Messed Up

Here's something really messed up. I put a few .XML files on my Earthlink webspace with an XSL stylesheet. Worked beautifully until today. I chatted with support, and they informed me they saw it and removed the content-type mappings to text/xml on the server. I asked why, and they stated if I wanted XML and XSL to work, I would have to pay for a premium hosted account. So I asked, "So, to make sure I understand you, you have misconfigured your servers to ignore the standard, published content-types on purpose unless I pony up more money?"

The answer? "Yes, that is correct." How's that for MESSED UP?!
