Two/Three years since my last journal entry?!

And I hardly ever post comments anymore, though I still lurk...

Man, I'm getting old! But I still keep an eye on things...

Which is a lot better then I'm doing with some of my old haunts - need I bring up peteweb, my favourite usenet groups and all those lovely anime forums from when Bebop was new and Spirited Away a whisper destined to become a roar?

It's a little scary...but plans for world domination (or - at least - plans to leave some type of interesting mark on the world) have been taking up my time as of late.

Ego.

An ego trip.

The world does not revolve around me - my brief bit part in this tragic comedy of errors will not be the cause of some cataclysmic curtain call if it were abruptly cut short.

Yet still, I am compelled to write here not in the false hope the entire world will read it - not even in the dellusion that one other person will read. Rather because I can.

Don't get me wrong, like all plebs I've a lot to say, like all megalomaniacs I think that what I've got to say bears a closer resemblence to truth than what others say. What reason have you to listen? What justification for your attention can I proffer?
