Journal: Irish Presidency sponsored!

As you may know, European Council approved Software Patents in spite of the refusal of the European Parliament (which is democratically elected by the people). On the website of the Irish Presidency, we can see the official sponsors of the Presidency. A democratic authority that is sponsored! And guess who is in the set of sponsors? Big compagnies like Microsoft! What to think of that? Isn't a proof that the opinion of citizens has no weight opposed to some strong companies?
