I hate users... No, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I really hate them. I also hate their managers that won't fire their incomptent asses when they totally fry their systems and then expect me to pull them out of the fire when they break something. I hate people who use MS Word, but won't RTFM when they don't know how to do something. I hate people who use EXCEL and want me to teach them how to write Macros. I hate my friends who call me when they fry their home computers and want me to come over and fix them for free. I hate my family that calls me on my day off and wants me to come over and show them how to use AOL... Do I sound bitter

Spent the morning working on the corporate firewall. Had to make sure I could open a tiny hole for a user to access one of the data warehouses. I have to remember to bill the customer for an hour of work. I was up until 3:00 A.M. working on an OBSD firewall design. Compared to OBSD Slackware 2.0 was a dream to install. It doesn't help that I'm attemping this on some really old hardware. P75 32MB RAM, 545 MB HD. It should work, but it's gonna take some thought and sweat.
