Journal Journal: IBM looks at open source development without the license

IBM plans to increase the openness of its software development process. This summer the company will undertake an experiment where it provides access the public access to source code of an upcoming middleware application, allowing individuals to compile and install the code on test systems and provide IBM with feedback. But even though the company is essentially embracing the open source development model, it won't donate the code under an open source license.
