Journal Journal: Moderators...
I was just moderated -1: Redundant on a post I made within the first 5 minutes of the posting of the article.
Is that really necessary? When I moderate, I will moderate down post #150 when it is obvious they haven't even read the thread before making their comment. But if the person just happens to make a comment that two or three people have made before him, as in my case, when they were all posted within minutes of each other should either be ignored or moderated on their content. The fact that others had said it is irrelavent in those first minutes of posting, where before you hit 'preview' 'submit,' no one had said anything.
Then again, I realize this journal is largely a waste of bandwidth, and the number of socially inept slashdot mongers who read this journal aren't going to change their actions because of it.
