Journal: Shooting in the dark.

Here I am, anxiously awaiting the rejection of my latest story submission. I really can't believe I actually fell for this again, but hope apparently springs eternal...

I looked all over this site, and I cannot find a mechanism for asking the lords of the realm for guidance. I realize there are submissions galore, and so the vast majority have to be rejected, but the simple fact of rejection does not offer me insight into improving my submissions, so that one day I may reach nirvana, or at least the next level.

Why do my submissions suck so violently?
