Journal: Playing with my new Palm

I just picked up a Palm m505 yesterday. Neat toy, except I haven't figured out how to get my Linux box (RH7.1) to talk to it yet. It came with a USB cradle which the kernal does not recognize on boot. It sees my other USB devices. I'm thinking I need to upgrade to a new kernel which may have a Handspring Visor driver that has been hacked to talk to Palms as well. I'm wondering if KPilot can be made to talk to my Palm.

Any ideas?
