Journal: my first journal entry

This is my first journal entry. I want to see how Slashdot does their web journal software.

My real journal is over here just off of my personal web site.

I'm using Halcyon over there, it's written in PHP and uses a MySQL database to store the data. I kind of like that combo, especially since I can tweak the code all I want, it's somewhat easy to follow.
