Journal: Shooting star

I just saw the most amazing shooting star I've ever seen - it was incredibly bright, and separated into several peices, each burning brightly, before finally fizzling out. It was so large and bright that my dad and I thought it was a plane until it broke apart. It was visible for more than 10 seconds, which was what really impressed me.
