Journal Journal: the left

It seems like *most* (though certainly not all) /.ians are on the political left if they are American... and the far left if they are from elsewhere.
What is the deal? Are you all a bunch of young punks who are pissed that the conservatives are rich? do you want them to share? go earn some money for yourself. The rich people are the ones who are giving you jobs punks.

If that's not the case then why? And don't lie, come on now. All your favorite liberals are rich too... but they like to pretend that they are looking out for the little guy.
I'm not saying that rich people are these paragons of virtue that we should look up to, but, if you are the least bit angry at the rich, maybe you should look at yourself. Ask yourself why you are where you are, and if you aren't happy where you are, what do you need to do to get where you want to be. And don't blame it on my runon sentences or someone else. Take responsibility for yourself for once.
BTW, a good way to tell if you need to take this advice is if you are getting pissed while reading it.
If you truly are happy where you are, good for you: you have no excuse to be a liberal anymore.

Just for the record, i'm a younger guy... Not some old rich guy =D

Journal Journal: Does anyone use the journal? 1

I've looked at several users, maybe i'm 'unlucky' but i've haven't seen any journaling going on yet... Do people use it? Only the hard core slashdottians?
And while you're at it, what's the meaning of life. (i ask about 'life' in the hypothetical... if someone you know has one... tell me what it's like)
