Journal: Dyson Website...

Went in to Comet aimlessly where I found a Dyson rep. I asked for a phone number to purchase a replacement pipe for my Dyson hoover (which I got for free from my last employer cos it had a broken pipe).

He wrote it down, but said "btw have you checked out our website?". Get home, check it out, it's exactly what a company should use their website for. Specifically I like the comment under "Suction release valve" for my DC05:

"If the end of the hose is obstructed, the valve momentarily releases to prevent anyone - or anything - becoming helplessly attached to the cleaner."

Ordered the pipe, and a half price mini-turbobrush. Quite convinced now that Dyson's are good value for money over the long-term.
