Journal Journal: MMORPG "reserves the right to charge" beta testers

My interest in a new MMORPG called Ryzom was sparked by an O'Rielly article. I went to the site, and was interested in becoming a beta tester; that is, until I spied a clause in the NDA stating, "(3) You acknowledge that Wanadoo Portails may, in its discretion, charge a fee for the Beta Software and/or participation in the Beta Test Program, and your participation in the Beta Test Program is contingent on your payment of such fee(s)"

What kind of nonsense is this? And here I was all excited about a MMORPG that actually respected and cared for it's community, but just turned out to be the same old story.

Journal Journal: The first entry

In the meantime, I'd like to see exactly where this journal is posted, who gets to look at it, and how it appears. Ah, I see, there is a preview button in a similiar manner to the Twiki product. Very nice. Now if they only had spell checking...
