I have returned to the world of studentdom, this time as a grad.

It is my Summer.

If anyone asks where I am, I'm working on my dissertation (empire/science/Bengal/cross-cultural encounters/politics of friendship). If you know anything about 1830s India feel free to comment. It would restore my faith in geekdom (or Slashdot's version of it) as a place where people do humanities things too.
