Journal Journal: Another submission gets rejected - Woo Hoo!

I have no problem with having submissions rejected, but it would REALLY be nice if I knew why. Otherwise, I will have to repeatedly attempt different styles until I stumble on the one that gets accepted.

Journal Journal: Well, at least my comments are good...

My most recent comment was favorable with the /. crowd, and was modded to +5 funny. Maybe I'll just stick to adding my 2 cents to other people's submissions.

Journal Journal: Now I am 0 for 4

I just had my 4th story submission bite the dust. It seems harder than I imagined to get published here.

Journal Journal: 3rd submitted story bites the dust...

I can't blame anyone for rejecting it. By the time it was finally evaluated, it was no longer relevant. Which leads me to the question - how do some of these cutting edge stories make it so quickly? Mine was pending for about a week or more, yet others are published almost immediately.

Journal Journal: First post!! - I mean journal entry

Well, try as I might to resist the magnetic pull of the Slashdot community, I find myself writing my first journal entry. What started out as a harmless facination with tech (geek) news, has now turned into an obsession. To date I have:

- Commented on 7 stories
- Had my comments on 2 of them modded up
- Submitted 3 stories
- Had 2 of them rejected (3rd is pending)

And now I am writing this journal entry to find out if I will get sucked even further into the Slashdot world. So, if you happen to stumble on this, please post a comment.
