Journal: What is my (current) quest

If you don't know me, I am a Media Specialist for Roseville Area Schools. I do a lot of things, but I have been busy lately dealing with my current quest--to cut down on printing. Here's the basics:

• Most designers design for 800x600 screens.
• 600 pixels at 72 pixels per inch = 8 and 1/3 inches
• Your average print out is a maximum 8 inches long
• Add kids, who never found a web page they don't want to have permanently and we have lots of almost complete artics, and
• A BUNCH OF WASTED PAPER

So, I have written to OSONLINE and to Open Source for Schools. I have been trying to find a way to permanently allow printing selection without all the html gibberish, but short of recompiling mozilla nothing has happened. Any advice here would be great. In the meantime it is my quest.
