Journal: annoyed

I am annoyed at the world. It took me 2 hrs 15 mins to get to work today.

I want to work in my field, closer to my house, but the companies in the 495 corridor are shipping jobs overseas. The few jobs that open up are bombarded with resumes, and then they often times use a visa holder instead of a citizen.

Found out one of our senators (the one who is not campaigning) is on the new "Friends of India" subcommittee. Can't get him to meet with the high tech workers I have mobilized, yet he joins a committee that gives foreign businessmen direct access to his ear.

How bout a "Friends of displaced American workers" committee guys? You are supposed to be working for us!
