They still do make great games. But you find they might not have the *best* graphics. One of my favorites is Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Though it is discontinued, you could still probably find a pre-owned copy at your local EB, or at least have them pull one from another store location.

It's basically a tactical RPG (think FF Tactics) but with a little bit darker line of humor. (You play as the prince of the Netherworld...)
