Journal: Why the journal?

Have you noticed that every site in the world now has user blogs? They're kind of like the discussion board of the new millenium. Heck, we even have them at our site. Not that any home school people are using them (yet), but it's like a checkbox that you have to have. Okay, enough gawking. Get back to work.
