Journal Journal: Wireless Recording on my iBook for Class

I go to class a lot. One of my teachers is very hard to understand. My iBook has no problem making it through class, so I take my notes on it instead of paper; my typing is a lot faster than my writing. What I would like to have is a wireless microphone close to my teacher that would transmit back to my iBook so that I could record his entier class and listen it later if I needed to. Is there any audio/Mac gurus out there who have any ideas on what kind of hardware I could use to accomplish this?

Journal Journal: Microsoft assisting parents with their children

Microsoft has published a parent's primer to computer slang. "Leet (a vernacular form of "elite") is a specific type of computer slang where a user replaces regular letters with other keyboard characters to form words phonetically--creating the digital equivalent of Pig Latin with a twist of hieroglyphics." Is this the answer parents are asking for? This is not just a solution for parents to understand their young computer savvy children's lingo, it can also serve as a guide for regular people to get 'computer hip'.
