BBC has an article here which talks about an Indian court that has ruled that state-owned airline Air India has the right to prevent its air hostesses from flying for being overweight.

Journal Journal: Chance for another Regime Change

The Recent Cyclone in Burma has left the country devastated. Now The UN and other agencies are rushing to provide help to the Burmese government. UN has , halted the supply due to the fact that the Burmese government (read , junta) is hashing up any attempts at proper distribution of the relief. I wanted to know if USA is interested in a Regime change / Operation Burmese Freedom or something of that sort.

The Highest Honorary Award in India, the Bharat Ratna has not been awarded to a person since 7 years. This year, there had been a great political and media debate over who deserves to be awarded the Bharat Ratna resulting in another year with no award. The Complete List of awardees points to the fact that Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation has not yet received it, even though the award can be given posthumously. Does he deserve this award, being an international icon?
