Journal: GameFarmer: Console game shopping cheap and fast

GameFarmer has been my pet project since September of last year. I got the idea after realizing that I need to quickly build my old game collection which was ruined in a fire. The catch was, I didn't have any money. Therefore I wrote a few c and perl programs and started collecting price data on gameboy, nes, and snes games. Later on, I heard about the GameBoy Player and I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be cool to launch a service so people could buy gameboy, gameboy color, and gba games at the lowest price". That idea soon spiraled into what is now GameFarmer. The site just launched last night and I will be adding new retailers in the coming week or two. I'm up for all comments, feedback, suggestions, etc. I hope you all find it to be a useful service and I look forward to improving it in the weeks, months, and years to come.
