Journal Journal: Introductions Not Required
Just an entry in my journal to have an entry.
Anyone use POV-Ray? I have used it since I found it on Compuserve. Since having a "ray casting" class in grad school (one of the classes that fit the Artificial Intelligence curriculum (????) at the University of Mo: Rolla), I have been addicted to 3D graphics -- watching (Reboot, Beast Wars/Machines, etc.), learning techniques (see POV-Ray Resources) and using. Great tool. Fortunately, there are a number of other tools that let you create meshes, and the like, in a GUI. But being able to hand-code/hand-tweak images in POV-Ray, as well as the scripting language and all the new features added to 3.5, make POV-Ray my toy of choice.
