Journal Journal: GFSGL bugvelopme...errr...development

I've added quite a few new features to the GFSGL CVS lately. And the 0.90.x branch has been feature frozen to ensure that it will be as bug free as possible for the release.
So 0.90.0 stays in feature freeze for two weeks before official release which is due for the 26th of May. I will then announce it on freshmeat and the linux game tome.

The features I've added to CVS includes a function to automagically add win games found to the DB, split emuc into two different emulation commands one for wine and one for others and added a "More functions" menu (gui) where there are two new "Run target file with emulator X" where X is either emuc_wine or emuc_other. It seems these new featuers are quite bug-free (at least I hope so), so maybie, just maybie there will be a 0.91.0-Beta1 release no more than about a week after 0.90.0-FINAL.

I'm hoping that GFSGL will be used by more people after the final release and freshmeat/linux game tome announcements. It's not used by that many people right now.

I'm also suppose to implement a 0.0.1 gfsi-remove version before GFSGL 0.90.0-FINAL so that it can be included in the 0.90.0 GFSGL-Installer. Since the specification is already written it shouldn't be much of a problem. Also I'm suppose to write the GSFGL GM DB specification for 0.91.0 now, don't know when I'll get around to do that though. No need for it before 0.91.0 final, beta's can do fine without (so can final, but I've got to have some deadline if I'm going to get around to do it). Just as a reminder, GFSGL is at gfsgl.sf.net and GFSI is at gfsi.sf.net

Thats all for now,

Journal Journal: What am I up to?

I'm currently running Mandrake Linux Cooker, and developing GFSGL (gfsgl.sourceforge.net) and GFSI (gfsi.sourceforge.net). Where I released a new version of GFSGL yesterday and err...will probably release a bugfix today :p

Anyway, I'm back to using this journal (heh, like I really used it before)

Once again I installed MDK9.0 after having RH about two days. It's REALLY good to be back, I didnt like the way RH did things, and It was unstable. Well, thats it for now. Ty for willingly taking me back MDK =P
