Journal Journal: 2005 was mediocre
Could have been worse.
Could have been worse.
2004 sucked.
2004.
2003 was a decent year.
Been better, been worse.
Still living and breathing.
A couple of days of class down. Spent the evening with one of my best friends and a really cute girl he's kinda seeing. Altogether a pretty good evening. Even if they aren't mine, spending time with great girls is sometimes more pleasant than frustrating.
Got an email saying my stereo system is on it's way. That means in 3-6 weeks I'll be thumpin with the best of them
Back to my so called life.
Wow, can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last journal entry.
I'm starting classes again on Monday (the 25th), plus working part time. Not sure how well that's going to work out, but we'll see. I've been hanging out with a girl named Molly. She's cute, but emotionally unavailable and a huge fan of mixed messages.
Investing in a new sound-system for the car. Nothing insane, just a little MP3 player. With my luck something is going to come up just as I'm riding the economic fine line between starvation and broke.
Nothing else is new really. Still single (again), still trying to get a decent career, still waiting for things to change.
They say people make their own luck. Sounds like a lot of work. Maybe I'll try some of that some day, see how it pans out.
Alright, I've decided to start updating the journal again.
Things are going pretty good for me right now.
I finished my year at Algonquin with only failing one class (Cobol, for those of you who know what it is I know you're sharing my pain, if you don't know what it is just squirm a bunch for good measure)
It took me a long time to find a job this summer, finally my friend Stark got me an interview at RadioShack. I got the job, have been doing it for almost 2 weeks, and loving it (more or less)
So, I'm getting set for another school year. Tuition, books, parking.. the costs sure add up.
Oh well, the alternative is to not do it, and since I'm about half way through, better to get it over with, right?
Been spending a LOT of time in Ottawa at my sisters, since that's where I'm working. When school starts I might be there 7 days a week.
I miss my cat a lot, but I'll live.
I had a girlfriend for a week or so, but it didn't work out. We both knew it probably wouldn't, but we wanted to make sure rather than have regrets.
Well, now that I have little else to do, despite the fact that no-one cares (I'm sure) I'll start updating these posts.
School going well, sorta.
Nothing to report.
Still waiting on the return of my cat with warez.
Dear LORD this is dull.
I thought I'd enjoy school being over, but NOoooo I'm just about DIEING of boredom.
maybe if I tie a note to my cat and send her for help someone will rescue me!
"Help. Geek is bored. Send Warez."
School is getting hectic. I have 4 exams this week (one in 8 hours) and then I'm done 'til January! I don't think I'll be failing any classes this semester, guess that's good
I'm looking forward to christmas, I already got my big gift but there's still the little stuff. I hope I get the extended Fellowship of the Ring DVD set.
I'm getting sick though, I can feel it coming on. I hope it comes and goes before the majority of my exams hit on Wednesday.
as a sidenote; why are all the best girls already taken?... wait, I think I just answered my own question.
