Journal: Proud day for me...

;today is a proud day for me. my article on Why Slackware still matters was posted to Slashdot. it feels good to have some affirmation from your community--good or bad. the thing that i've noticed about the comments is that most of them center around the topic, not around me or other peripheral issues. i like that. i feel like i've done what a writer is supposed to do in an OP-ED: get your attention, get you to think.
