Journal: Go Team Operate

I'm trying to craft posts on slashdot so that they receive whatever moderation I want. So far I suck :). Right now, I'm trying to just go for +5s, and even there I can't quite hit the nail on the head. My last two attempts have been modded -1 redundant and +5 insightful.

I long for the day when I can go for middle ground - e.g. as a party trick, I'll be able to say, watch this post get modded to +3 informative. And then write something which is vaguely informative such that it doesn't get +5, but is also correct, so it doesn't get modded down by people who know stuff.

I might let you know how I do. If you don't read anything after this, then assume that I got bored, forgot, failed miserably or are (am?) still trying.
