Journal Journal: First replies
Today I received my first replies. (sidebar)While it may be ridiculous to be talking about first days on Slashdot as if I were some parent watching their child take his first steps, I really have nothing much else to say...yet. As of now, I'll just write simply for the purpose of writing. Dr. Johnson said, "Any man may write as long as he sets himself doggedly to it."
Anyway, today I received my first replies, one was a reply in regards to an article about sleeping difficulty due to computers. The individual, who posted anonymously, indicated that he found reading to be a good method for relaxing enough to go to sleep.
The second reply was not very agreeable with the statement I posted, but nonetheless it was his perogative to hold the position he took. He...sorry...they even made a few good points. (If the individual to whom I am referring is reading this, I apologize for assuming you were a man, if in fact you are not.) It would not be revolutionary for me to read something I've written and find that it contains some flaw. Very little that we write is without error. There is a strong danger to declaring absolutes of our own opinions. I will leave the declaration of absolutes to God, and simply depend on His marvelous grace. Praise Jesus
