Journal Journal: I like never write in here...
...but it's not like anyone is reading anyways.
On the further chronicles of this cancer journey, I'm not a surgical candidate, I've failed the phase I chemo trial I was on, I've got new tumors on my remaining hip bone and floating in the soft tissue where my other hip used to be. FUN. I'm researching proton beam radiation...it seems like something that might be able to give a much higher maximum dose of the radiation, and as such might actually be able to affect my tumor. Once that one treatable tumor is treated, then we'll worry about what to do with all the rest. Let me just point out that this sucks. Two years of treatments and I'm still collecting tumors like stamps. Or something. This is not how I pictured life after college.
Well, that ends the chronicle of my cancer for today. Somehow it feels better to have a written record out there, something to say I AM SIGNIFICANT! Or perhaps even...I EXISTED! I don't know.
