Journal Journal: Animal Learning

I'm curious about the nature of learning in animals. After reading several papers I have come to some conclusions. First there are two main factors in learning. One is repitition. The more often a task is done or and event observed the more we learn from it. Second, when accompanied with pleasure of any kind animals form a more lasting memory of the event and are more likely to repeat the actions leading up to the even of pleasure. Pleasure needs to be defined carefully when considering the previous statement. Pleasure as it is used here is not the simple physical pleasure that most would associate with the term, but the whole sense of anything that is pleasurable including that which removes displeasure.
