Ok, so what's up with the history research i mention?
I was kind of invited to participate on a history film. By tomorrow i have to finish the research. The theme is the untold story of Antofagasta, my hometown. so i'ts 23:07 and i have virtually nothing . I try to get some books and it was damn difficult. Ultimately i got one, "Historic Narrations about Antofagasta". It's 500 pages of historic and mostly boring details about politics and bussines. Very little space to the people that founded and make grown this 200 old city on middle of the driest desert on earth.
So, i have to found interesting characters that lies between history and stories, truth and myth.

It's kind of sad, or maybe just a glance of the new kind of life some people choose to have, but i'm pretty sure i know more about sillicon valley history than Antofagasta history...
The thing is... i'm a big defender of globalization. I dont belive in things like closing us to other cultures. In fact the other day i was discusing this with a friend, a poet, who tought my use of english words on my poems or pop expressions on my writing was an attack to our mother tongue. "Culture is by noway a static thing, there is no wrong on using foreign culture per se".
But this task made me think... i' have expand my horizon, and enriched my mindset, or i just have lost my roots?

I'm sure when i move on to write the actual script this question will arise again... and stronger.

Well... i will write about what i'm doing -or supposed to be doing- right now.
I study -or as i say, supposed to- a kind of BS on Computer Sciences and Information Technology. Here is called Civil Engineering on Computer Sciences, but i'm not quite convinced with that.
I did read a ver interesting paper about computing and computer science. Was it a critical essay about the non-existence of computer science as a formal science. Computers, programming, hacking in general was for the author, an art form.

Anyway, also i do some poetry once in a while... Lately i haven't write much or anything, but i do not regret it, because i write only when i need to. I'm just to amateur to speak about my roots or influences. I like mostly fellow chilean poets like Neruda, De Rhoka, Mistral, Huidobro, and some other foreing like Dickison and Bennedeti.

Finally, i'm pretty -fully i should say- involed with entrepreneurship. Since last year with two close friends, i'm working on my escape plan. Seeding, programming, foreseeing, building and dreaming the path that will bring more freedom to my life - i feel i dont quite fit withing college right now.
The startup is called Confianze. We have university support and a lot of confidence on what we are doing. We are finishing the IT plataform and soon, maybe two months from now, Confianze will begin operations.
I can't say to much, but there is no mistery about the market we are targeting. We 'll provided solutions, trough in-house developed software and tools, that will help our clients to minimize the risk window they faced against new vulnerabilities. Yes, we are on Information Security.

That's is it... i have to go... i have some history research to do.. o yeah, later i will speak about it.

After doubt it a little i start my own personal journal thanks to slashdot. I thoght for a while to made a personal website, but as lazy and bussy i'm i have no time to do it.. so a ./ journal seems ok. Who will read this? I can be 99.9% sure that noone.. at least until i have some interesting things to say.
