Journal: Slashdot users are weak on science.

I'm curious what the Slashdot user body mostly consists of, since even Computer Science students need to take several credits worth of Physics, and yet I see a lot of posts that display an ignorance of even an elementary understanding of the physical world and properties about it that are taught in undergraduate Physics and Chemistry.

What I am most interested in learning is if Slashdot is filled with idiots or just with teenagers that have not yet studied the natural sciences.
