Who needs those new-fangled blogging sites, good ole /. has it built right in! Guess I'll use it till I get my own site back and operational (just to move again haha).

I quit smoking on 01Aug2005...it's been a full week just about. The cravings have died down a bit. Keeping busy helps. I set up an aquarium with 4 clown loach and one of the ever-popular plecostomus (code name Hex for now) and watching them swim around helps to relax. Trin (the cat) has enjoyed watching them too. Had to take some drastic measures to stop her from getting inside the tank though.....metal screen hot-glued over all the gaps of the lid. The fish are doing ok though and hopefully make it through the tank's first cycle. We'll see.

So there's a story about black holes consuming a star. Seems like there is about 5% actual conversation and 95% jokes in the replies....sigh.
