Journal: Yahoo! Thwarts legitimate email usage.

In an effort to thwart spammers, Yahoo! recently launched an anti-spam campaign where hundreds of false email addresses are generated and returned to the spammer. A bug however, caused legitimate users of Yahoo! email to be spammed instead. A call to Yahoo! tech support garners an "acknowledgement of the problem" and "you can rest assured, engineers are working on the problem." I bet they are.
